More Conciliation Boards to be eliminated

Last Monday, May 26th of this year, in the morning edition of the Official Gazette of the Federation, the “AGREEMENT whereby the jurisdiction by subject matter of the Special Boards of the Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Board, as indicated, is eliminated and modified” was published. Through this agreement, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, in the exercise of its powers, decided to suppress several Special Boards, consequently expanding the territorial jurisdiction of others.

For clarity, these were the changes:

  • Special Boards 3 Bis, 7 Bis, 8 Bis, 9 Bis, 12 Bis and 14 Bis of the Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Board, located in Mexico City, are eliminated.
  • The files in charge of the Special Boards that are eliminated and mentioned in the previous numeral, will continue to be processed until their conclusion before the Special Boards of the Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Board with residence at Av. Azcapotzalco la Villa No. 311, Col. Barrio de Santo Tomás, C.P. 02020, Alcaldía Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, as indicated below:
    • Special Board 3 Bis, in Special Board Number 3.
    • Special Board 7 Bis, in Special Board Number 7.
    • Special Board 8 Bis, in Special Board Number 8.
    • Special Board 9 Bis, in Special Board Number 9.
    • Special Board 12 Bis, in Special Board Number 12.
    • Special Board 14 Bis, in Special Board Number 14
