Leonor Llamas Villalobos is a highly specialized lawyer in Strategic Civil and Commercial Litigation, with a particular focus on International and Domestic Arbitration, as well as Judicial Intervention in arbitration proceedings. She has a proven track record in representing clients in complex commercial disputes, including infrastructure litigation, contractual compliance, commodities disputes, corporate law, foreign trade and construction, among other key areas of corporate law.
In her previous position, he played a key role in the design of procedural strategies, the management of strategic accounts and the conduct of highly complex cases. She has been actively involved in arbitrations administered under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), and has experience in the enforcement of arbitral awards before Mexican courts.
Among her main professional achievements are the implementation of highly effective judicial and arbitration strategies, the sustained leadership of a litigation team for more than eight years with favorable results, and the development of innovative fee proposals and collection mechanisms for a diverse portfolio of national and international clients. She has also perfected her practice in oral proceedings and actively participates in forums, seminars and specialized commissions in civil, commercial, arbitration and amparo law in Mexico.
Currently, She is a Senior Associate at Vega, Guerrero y Asociados (VGA), where she leads the Commercial Litigation and Commercial Arbitration team, combining her technical expertise with a strategic vision oriented to the prevention and efficient resolution of disputes.
